Realme X3 Super Zoom with 5x Optical Zoom helped with an 8MP periscopic telephoto lens has been currently launched in the European market and will later debut in other markets as well.
Realme has been in the limelight from last one and a half year of its debut in the smartphone category as an Oppo spinoff and has taken some of the key markets by storm especially China, Europe and India due to its aggressive smartphone pricing.
Models in the Realme X series lineup
Realme X series is considered the flagship line up of the Realme smartphones and Realme has launched a slew of devices in this series. Realme X, Realme X Master Edition, Realme XT, Realme X2 Pro, Realme X2 Pro Master Edition, Realme X50 Pro 5G and lastly the newly launched Realme X3 Super Zoom.
Coming to the highlights of Realme X3 Super Zoom
Realme X3 Super Zoom gets its name with the camera setup that it has used. The setup includes a periscopic telephoto lens that exists with only a couple of devices namely Huawei P30 Pro, Oppo Reno 10X and Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition.
The biggest highlight of Realme X3 Super Zoom is its 8MP periscopic telephoto lens that supports 5x optical zoom and upto 60x digital zoom. This setup also comes with OIS (optical image stabilization) to ensure blur-free image capture. Apart from this the Realme X3 Super Zoom camera comprises a main 64MP sensor with 8MP ultrawide lens and an additional 2MP macro lens.
The other main camera highlight of the phone is the new Starry Mode which will allow the device for astrophotography to capture the Milky Way. Yes, you heard it right, the Milky Way. This is made possible with the help of long exposure combined with the wide aperture lens along with the enhanced software and algorithmic trick. This feature is currently available only on the Google Pixel 4 Series.
Realme X3 Super Zoom uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor and will come in two storage variants 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB with UFS 3.0

Pricing and availability
The phone has been currently only launched for the European markets with a starting price of EUR 499 that translates to roughly 42,000 Indian Rupees.
Realme X3 Super Zoom can get competition from the OnePlus 7T Series and OnePlus 8 Series as OnePlus has currently dominated this price segment for over the last couple of years and the fanfare in this price segment is strong for OnePlus smartphones.
